Solar PV - China Blue
One of our clients, a local business in Totnes, was looking for ways to
decrease their energy costs while also reducing their carbon footprint.
In order to determine the best course of action, we conducted a thorough
assessment of their energy usage and site conditions. After careful
consideration, we recommended the installation of a 15kW solar PV
system, which would generate ample clean energy to cover a significant
portion of their electricity needs. We then applied to the National Grid
for approval, and proceeded with the installation, which took about a
week and involved the mounting of 36 solar panels on the roof of the
client's premises.
In addition, we installed an inverter, a monitoring system, and a new
electrical switchboard to ensure seamless integration with the existing
electrical infrastructure. Since the installation, our client has
witnessed a substantial reduction in their energy bills, and the solar
system is also helping them to achieve their sustainability goals by
reducing their carbon footprint.
Heat Pump - Devon Wildlife Trust
Our Mechanical engineers installed a couple of Daikin air source heat pumps at Devon Wildlife Trust. Our client approached us for a
sustainable heating solution to reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs.
Air source heat pumps work by extracting heat from the outside air, even in cold temperatures, and then use that heat to warm up the indoor space. Unlike traditional heating systems that burn fossil fuels, air source heat pumps do not produce any carbon emissions on site, which makes them an eco-friendly alternative.

Packexe- LG Air Source Heat Pump
We installed an LG air source heat pump at the Packexe Head Quarters to
provide heating to their offices. Following a site survey where we
conducted bespoke and accurate heat loss calculations, we sized the
system based on their requirements and specified a suitable solution,
using products in line with their budget. The installation had
complexities, such as the desired location of the heat pump being
elevated and wall-mounted above ground level, which meant that we needed
to arrange specialist lifting equipment. It also needed to be integrated
into the existing infrastructure and control system.
